Some functions in the ACD-57 require activation in order to be able to use them. To do this, a license code must be entered once into the ACD-57 in order to activate the function.
This activation affects the following function: Control of a TRIG device.
Looking at its capabilities, we offer the ACD-57 at a very affordable price. This is possible because we do not “deliver” all functions directly with the purchase of the device. Our software license model enables us to offer the ACD-57 to users of standard functions at this affordable price. Users who want to use more specific functions, such as the integrated ETSO-approved altimeter, can purchase these functions separately. Without the license model, we would have to ask all customers to purchase the full range of functions for the ACD-57, which would make the device significantly more expensive. The license model enables functions to be retrofitted retrospectively, possibly even years after purchase.
After the purchase you will receive a coupon code by email. Enter this code in a form on a website, details will follow by email. After you have successfully entered the coupon code and the serial number, you will receive a license code for activating the function in the device.
